Default Help Please, the one panhard bolt and nut

It would not move at all, I broke 2 half inch rachets and eventually rounded the other side so I didn't know what to do. I dremeled it and I don't want to cut through part of my rear. Someones gotta know what to do, im about to replace my gears so I need to get that off.. I want my 4.10's and hopefully a shinny pumpkin cover! I will post pictures.

use a cut off wheel and cut the head of the bolt off then punch it through. chances are it is rusted in solid inside the phb bushing so if that's the case then do the same for the backside. at that point you may just be better off replacing the phb with a nice chromemoly adjustable one we make

I would but the thing is I don't have the money and I don't want to cut through part of the rear of where it is. I don't have a centerpunch which I was looking for yesterday.

The other side is rounded off like I said and I don't want to cut through the rear nor do I have the money to even get a new panhard bar and that would include getting the bolt out anyway. I wanna drill through it but im nervous. I don't know what else to do. I have a centerpunch but it's a spring loaded one and it's not like I can reverse drill it because of the nut on the other size. I can't even get a dremel in there to cut the nut off.

If you are careful you should be able to get it with the cutoff wheel and a punch. Also if anything call the junkyards and find another stock phb and bolt. Someone off here may give you a stock one and you pay shipping look at the pay-it-forward thread in the forsale section.

I got a napa full of bolts just as like a specialty conveniently a quarter mile down the street. But what do I do if I screw up and cut into the small steel piece that is part of the rear?? What other options do I have removing it safely?

im almost positive that you can drill through the bolt cause the bolt doesnt go into the rear just the bracket that is on the rear, no problems there.

drill threw the bolt, all you really can do now or unless you can get to the otherside and use plyers and get it out that way....
