Default What kind of gears to install?
Ok. so I have a 95 Z28.. automatic trans.. what gears should i go with? 3:73? or like 4:10?

try a search man, you'll find everything you need to know....there are tons of threads talking about this sort of thing....pros and cons of both....but to answer your question, 3.73's are popular with A4 folks.....4.10's if you've got a manual

I run 3.73s in my A4 and they were a nice improvement over the stock 3.23s.

I would recommend 3.42 if you don't want to lose MPG and still get good performance. Get the AAM (GM) gears. They will not whine. Hope this helps!

I would go 3.73s for performance, and 3.42s for in the middle, Also go with AAM gears!
