9" gear ?

I have a Moser 9' with 35 splines axles and 4.56 gears.I want to go to a smaller gear,but need to know if all gears for a 9" work?I'm think I need the 35 spline 9" gears right?

splines count deals with axles, nothin to do with gears

f.y.i. make sure that you do not have "pro gears" in it because they "did" have a 35 spline pinion, but i doubt it. as long as you have a normal gear set (28 spline pinion) any 9 inch gear wiil work.

Ok great the pro gears are the different ones.
