I am looking for a driveshaft for my 84 olds cutlass and one of my friends has a driveshaft in a 95 lt1 speed trans am. The car is in storage about 45 minutes away so I can't go measure the drive shaft easily. I am wanting to know if anyone has the length measurements for the factory driveshaft. My cutlass needs a driveshaft that measures 50.5" from center of the front ujoint to center of the rear joint (center of one cap to center of the other). Just curious how close the transam driveshaft will be or if it will be too long. If anyone has one around they could measure I would greatly appreciate it as this is one of the final things keeping my car from being drivable.

The driveshaft will be about 10" too short for you. I think my stock was about 40.5" center to center.

44.25 is the stock f body driveshaft length for the "x" dimension. Bob
