Leaking stock rear end
The suspect is the Rear Pinion Seal... How hard is this to replace? I have heard it can take less then 30 min... I was quoted $150. Anybody have a part number for the seal? Thanks

Shouldn't be too hard, but it involves removing the driveshaft and the rear yoke. All of these cars leak a little from what I have seen. Personally I'd pay someone to do it. There are 2 things on my car I won't do, trannies (internal) and rearends. I'll swap em though. I hate gear oil too.

Most likley it is your pinion seal leaking. It's no big deal to change. Just mark the threads on the pinion and nut before you loosen the nut with a crayon so you know how tight to make it. Just pry the old seal out with a flat head screw driver. Don't pull the driveshaft out of the transmission otherwise you'll lose trans fluid. It's actually real easy to change yourself. The only parts you'll need is a new pinion seal and some gear lube. National Federal-Mogul seal # is 8610. Napa, Carquest, or Autozone should be able to cross this number if they don't sell National Federal-Mogul seals.
