you might want to check and make sure the vent is working also. Sometimes they build up pressure if the vent is blocked of and can cause the seals to go out. Just fyi

I had 4 quarts in mine, shortly after putting 4 qrts, the NAPA bearing started to leak on the passenger side big time.

The Moser side has a very slight leak.

To see if the inner axle seal was bad on the NAPA side, I replaced it and it helped but still leaks. I have ordered 1 Moser bearing as the last hope to see if it helps. Oh and the vent is working fine.

Though I do not know if was due to having 4 qrts of oil. But when I pulled the passenger side axle there was about half an inch of oil in the axle tubes....

Napa Axle bearing part # 88128RA
Moser Bearing # MSR-9508B-1
Axle Seals or Inner axle seal for the Ford 9 # RAT-6128

^^ 4 quarts is to much. if you pull the plug on the side after 3 qts it will start coming out.

mine was running inside my passemger side wheel. make sure to use a seal driver when you install it to make sure it goes in straight and doesnt get distorted. after installed i put a bead of clear silicone around the outside edge. i understand that the moser axle bearings are a sealed design but imo they are garbage.

+1 Read it twice and did a Ctrl F. No luck here as well. I am seeing so many peeps with this axle leak issue.

So, dudes. What happens with long time exposer to oil being on my break pads? Will it catch fire? Make the pads shity?

Sorry about that, you're right. I just went in and added the pn#'s to it clear down at the bottom. Thanks. Bob

Bob, If the oil gets past the bearing, is it considered compromised?

I highly doubt it will catch fire.. I don't think the back brakes get hot enough to be an ignition source. That and if they did get that hot they wouldn't stay hot long enough to ignite it..it takes alot to get oil goin..lol

Seems like these have a problem with leaking, mine is also doing this on the Pass side. I do have a new NAPA bearing and seal, just gotta get it done.
