Moser axles suck...some twist on my 35-spline pieces of junk Take a close look at the splines

I wasn't sure if it was an actual wave in the splines or just the barrel effect of a camera lens I was seeing.

yeah, they suck. i have one now that is shaking like crazy as soon as i get above 50 mph. guess i will be pulling the piece of junk moser rear apart again!

look about 1/2 way up the spline...you see a subtle angle change. thats where it was no longer in the splines of the spool.

Damn that is pretty amazing. Wish I made enough power to twist some axles.

I'm changing the gear ratio along with some weight reduction of the housing (cutting off stuff I don't need)

The 2nd pic really shows the wave, going from the bottom to the top its approx 1/3rd of the way up and biased to the right.

torque? I dunno...alot

went 145-148 in the 1/8 and 177-181 in the 1/4 @ 3500lbs
Just a little 366 on 34psi boost

Not to stir up anything, but with that much HP/Tq and the ET you ran in a heavy (3500lb) car, you should probably be running a 40 spline axle to begin with...Call Moser, they will replace that axle for free providing it's under 10yrs old, and you have proof of where you bought it. Good luck and nice ride for sure LOL
