lt1 whining noise

lt1 whining noise have tried searching around but cant find anything thats close enough to what happening with mine
my car is making a loud whining noise, starting at around 25-30 mph and getting higher pitched as i go faster, but goes away as soon as i let off the gas. it seems loudest when the car is being given very very little gas. i took off the differential cover and changed out the gear oil, and the gears looked fine. anyone have any idea what it could be?

i have a whine and it has been diagnosed as my transmission going out
