Default Can anyone tell me the difference between NASCAR and soft locker?

I guess NASCAR is the older style Detroit and newer style is soft. What's different about internals?

I am not a gear guy but I think the internal spring rates might be different between the 2.

Not real sure. Someone here is running a ctr which is circle track racing locker and likes it
