Default drive shaft limits?

What have people been able to push through their stock drive shaft? This ? is for LTx's and LSx's.

I broke 2 Ds in one month with my ols 98 SS M6 with bolt ons and Nitto Drag.

is the stock driveshaft the same in the LT's and the LS's

No. Some are Aluminum and others Steel. Just buy a good one and put the worries behind you.

Launching on the 2 step at 6000 on slicks and 4.30 hears, no breakage yet, but i am probably just lucky. This is a LT1 DS.

If I recall all LT-1 cars got the Steel. I sold my LS-1 Aluminum to an LT-1 owner.

Some LS and LT1 have aluminum, LS1 and LT1 steel DS are probably near identical, i know the LT1 has the vibration damper.
