Not sure on that wheel size, but if you shorten each side at -3 inches per side, you can run a 15x10 4.5BS wheel. I had that size wheel with 325/50/15 MT DRs and it was a perfect flush fitment.

You can do -3 per side before having to worry about altering anything on the housing itself.

say someone was to narrow 3" on each side and run a wheel like that, would they have to modify the wheel wells? like move them inward more?

Is there any benefit to running a rear that is narrowed 3" on both ends and rims with 4.5" BS instead of stock width with 7.5" BS?

Is there a better selection of rims available with 4.5" BS?

It's mostly for cosmetics (deeper dish, better wheel selection) but as a side benefit it reduces unsprung and rotational weight a little bit by losing 6" of axle shaft and housing tube.

I did it for the looks and weight, I would get the offset lca for sure, Installed mine and tires would be very close if not touching if I didnt get the offset.

Nope, with the correct wheel backspacing the wheels will be in the same location as they would be with a standard length rear end. Bob

Taking 3" off the axle will pull the tire in 3" as well. This is why you reduce your b.s. by 3" to keep it centered. I oredered my MWC yesterday narrowed 3"/side and will be going with the 15x10 4.5" bs to put my 275 /60 mt radial in the exact same spot it sits now. You shouldn't have a problem fitting up to the 295/55 28" tire without any use of the BFH but if you go with the 325 tire, you will have to do some beating and perhaps cutting of the bumpstops as most do for it to fit. If you want the deep dish look without the added rotational weight and you can get by with a narrower tire such as the 275, then i would suggest it. Those 325's are HEAVY!!

Good luck!

jimm98ls1.....Your car and another on here with that same setup on an lt1 car take turns as my screen saver!!!!! AWESOME!!!

If you were stuck on running the rim that you mentioned your rear would need to be 56.2" overall length (thats 4.25" per side) and you would most likely run into problems with control arm clearance.
