I have a argument going with a buddy, Was wondering what gear this car possibly has....
They think the car has had a gear put it in....
SPECS ARE

70mph = 2800 rpms
WHAT GEARS?

there is NO way in hell it has 4:10s in it, 4;10 with a 26" tire would turn about 4k rpms. my car with stock 3.23 gears turned about 3200 at 70mph. Sounds like this car has the 2.73 gears.

If you were spinning 3200 at 70 then your car wasn't shifting to 4th or something. 3.23's with 26" tire puts it at 2050 rpms at 70 mph. 2.73's you'd be at just over 1700 rpm.
OP, I would agree with 4.10's

Your car had something else wrong with it. In a stock set-up, 3.23s turn 2k at 68 mph. Thats a fact. Anything other then that and you have something else going on. Converters not locking up will show about another 400 rpm on top of normal. So thats always something to factor in.
