Default 2.73't to 3.73's help!

I have a 1993 firebird formula i was wondering what speedo gear i should geto to correct the jump from 2.73's to 3.73's??? im clueless right now it has a Stock 700R4 i do not know the drive gears teeth number? someone please help me im putting the gears in next weekend and need to get this last part!

i believe u just need to tune it to the computer or something like that i dont think you need to buy an additional part to correct the speedo

IIRC, since it's pre-97 it can't be tuned. Well, at least not flash tuned with HP Tuners b/c it's not OBDII.

Have you tried calling the dealership? They might be able to offer you some direction on where to look.

Look for something in gm performance parts or call scoggin dickey. You might be able to get a factory reluctor ring from a truck with a 700r4 and a 3.73 ratio. Scoggin Dickey is a dealership with a big presence in gm factory performance and there on ls1tech. Hope this helps.
