Default ? About assembly/disasembly of MWC 9"

Okay i have a question about the midwest 9" that i have in my car.I need to take the center section out of the rear. Now when i put the center section in i didnt use a gasket or anything,i just used black silicone underneath the center section. Now i need to take the center section out of the rear, but im afraid its going to be a real pain because i siliconed it onto the rear.Any thoughts or tips for getting it off would be awesome. Its a strange aluminum center.

We use Permatex "Right Stuff" and never have a problem. Couple of pry bars and it's out.

start off with a thin putty knife or gasket scraper and carefully tap it between the case and housing. it works best if you can use 2 or 3 at the same time, then remove one and get something a bit thicker in the same spot, and work your way up to a prybar. once the prybar(s) is in place then wedge it out evenly otherwise it will try to bind on the studs and be hard to get out.
