need a tuner I bought a cheap 98 camaro. While doing some maintence found that some bearing going out in the rear so my friend had a spare axle with 4.10s so we put it in my car now the speedo is way off and the car shuts down at about 75 80 because it thinks its going 115 120 and need a program for a 98 but I can not post in (want to buy) so maybe someone that has one they want to sell I need one. The car is a blast A4 and 4.10s and 26 dr car just pulls hard from stop 70 is about 2600.

98s',because of their peculiar tune(like 97 vettes),there aren't many hand-held 'tuners' available for them. Too many buyers buy 'tuners' off,for instance e-bay,sites and not from stores and find the tuner they bought is 'locked'(still has the previous owners OEM settings in it)and is unusable. Be VERY cautious in acquiring a used tuner.

I bought a tuner off of here this week stated 98-02 found out after i bought it it is only good for 99-02 not a 98. This my first Ls car or car period was always into 4x4 trucks but this thing has been a blast so far my little budget build kinda were the name of the car came from. this site and craiglist is been my best friend and my friend who has had several of these cars and alot of leftover parts from his upgrades and knowitall.
