squaring rearend

Where's the best place to measure from to get the rearend straight. I put a 9" in my 94 TA and have dbl adj. lowers. Just having trouble getting a reference point, some say to mark on the floor and some say a spot on the car. Thanks for the advice.

Measure the distance from the front of the wheelwell to the tire. I think that will get you the closest.I just installed my 9" and had to move the rigt side out a couple turns myself.
