i have a 4 channel ss and i ordered my 9 inch 4 channel without new exciter rings. when i get my bearings pressed on do i have them press on the rings first then backing plates then bearings?

BE SURE and press the rings on correct side up, there is a correct side up ,I do not remenber which is correct , one side is beveled a little, look before you remove them from the old axle or do more search
