how to tell if rear end is centered?

how to tell if rear end is centered? ive got a moser 12 bolt on my SS and am soon planning on lowering it, with the new adj panhard how will i know if the rear is centered after dropping it?

I used a straight edge, lined up with the fender lip to the ground. I then went across with a tape measure and measured both sides until it all matched up...now i have no shudder or anything when running it hard.
