Default LT1 axle to LS1 axle difference?

I see moser says the same axle for 93-02 but i see other axle manufacturers give a break for 93-97 to 98-02. My car is no trac control. Alloy USA has a nice kit but not sure of fitment. Any info would be great

They have a slight flange width difference of about an eighth of an inch. They calipers will slide enough to compensate for that if need be but if you are buying a new set why cant you just order them for what you already have as far as brakes go??

Does the kit come with backing plates? The backing plates are different between LT1 and LS1 years because of the brake calipers, rotors and e-brake.

Moser does not supply the axles or rears with the brake backing plates, you reuse the old backing plates. 1/8" shims are used on the axles for '93-'97 F Body's. Bob
