Default Diff identification

We got this diff from a shop who apparently couldn't set it up correctly. The pinion bearing failed and allowed too much play between it and the ring, but for the life of me I cannot figure out what kind of unit is in this diff. Is this some sort of locker or just an off brand posi?

I can't seem to find anything similar, figure some one who knows more about this stuff than me could identify it! (sorry for the crap pic)

It's a Zexel Torsen limited slip. They were popular for road racing when they came out, but most people have moved away from them. I'm still running mine and I kinda like it. I'll change it out once I get the new rear end, but until then I dig it...

Torsen! Trying to find some info on it so I can make sure it's intact before I rebuild the rear and use it in my car lol

Torsens' were used for 1999-2002 f-bods.

Hopefully it will be better than a gov lock or auburn posi. I tore up a gov lock at the trac the first time I ran it. This is going behind a 450-500hp 6.0, but I don't want to run slicks, so maybe it will live for a while.

It is better than a gov-lok,much better,gov-loks are crap.
Auburns fail in the respect that 'spiders' break.
Torsens failures are generally catastrophic and seem to be of a higher failure rate than Auburns,at least that's what has been appearing lately. Recently there's been threads about the end bolts(that hold the torsens' internals) coming loose and hitting the carrier caps.
