Default 1350/1310 u joint conversion

Where the drive shaft meets the rear end pinon. On the Drive shaft side i have a 1350 because its a big after market driveshaft. well its bolting up to a factory ten bolt which is either a 1310 or 3r. anyways i searched and came across the nappa part number 420-0447 or napa 447, but people were using this for the opposite setup as me ( 12 bolt pinon has the 1350, and they were using the stock Driveshaft with a 1310/3r)

You need the Neapco 2-1153, which is 3r x 1350

Size wise, what is the difference between a 3r and 1310?

For clarification - for a stock driveshaft with the Moser 12 bolt 1350 yoke:

This is a 3R or 1344 to 1350 conversion.

Moser offers the Neapco 2-1153 U-Joint

The following parts will also fit, (and likely others)

NAPA 447
Moog 447
Precision 447

Hope this helps the folks out there with the stock d/s and 1350 yoke.

Regards,

Darden

PS I found the Moog 447 at Advance Auto for 29.00 or so. About the best price I have found.

I know this is an ANCIENT thread, but i found this out the hard way when I tried to install one of the Summit alloy drive shafts with a stock 10 bolt pinion yoke.

Summit, and I believe Inland Empire ship ALL of their 3rd/4th gen f body drive shafts with a straight 1310 u-joint (BOTH sides).
This WILL NOT work, as you need a 3R to 1310 conversion joint to make it work.
