Default Rear End Fluid-All Synthetic=No LSD Add?

Last year I bought all of the recommended fluids from GM to be replaced on my WS6. I remember that some of the LSD's require a special additive that GM offers to be thrown into the mix.

However, the parts guy told me that if I go for their fully synthetic rear end gear oil, there is no need for the additive. Is this true or should I play it safe and still throw it in there?

All synthetics have it that I know of. The parts stores have bottles of just the lube also.

OK great. So I'm safe just by simply throwing in the GM synthetic and walking away?
