Default Spohn Extreme Duty Driveshaft

My steel driveshaft bent pretty well and I need a replacement! I'm shying away from aluminum (mainly because of price). I saw that Spohn offers what seems to be a nice piece for a decent price.

Has anyone used their Extreme Duty driveshaft before? Any problems?

Does anyone have other suggestions for something in the $350 range?

I'm making about 350 to the tire, have a FLT Level 4 trans, Yank SS3600 stall, stocker 7.5 with some 3.73s thrown in.

PST sells a 3 inch steel driveshaft for 320 or so. I'd leave Spohn to making LCAs.

We can get you into the Strange 3" chromemoly driveshaft with the correct slip yoke for your application for 320.00 shipped. Sold 100s of them with very good success.

I went with a Spohn DS, I havent ran my car yet but it seems like a very nicely done piece. I went with the chromemoly version with spicer yokes it was about 320. I was going to go with Strange but they refuse to ship anything via USPS so I get royally screwed on shipping.

if you run it Dime let me know how it handled it. i even slipped my clutch off the line @ around 3500 but the slicks just held wayyy to good and i guess i didnt slip the clutch enough. That RST twin disk is pretty beast

I would have to bet that the Spohn shaft is made by Strange... but that's just a guess

Well, I've had mine in the car for awhile now. No problems except my car is making ~360rwhp. Haha. I don't know how well it would work in your case.
