Default What type of gear oil for a 95 Z28 10 bolt with posi

I have a 98 Z28 with a 3.23. I am swapping it out for a 95' 10 bolt with posi-traction (torsen i think). I am trying to find out what type of gear oil to use and something about using additive also. Could some one help me out, so I dont ruin this rear please. Thank you

It's probably an Auburn diff, which GM does recommend the limited slip additive. You can use 80w-90 or whatever gear lube and you can get the additive at any auto parts store. I'm not sure, but I believe the additive is for clutch type (auburn) diffs only, so if it is a torsen you might not need it.

75/90 synthetic will have the additive already in it. Buy 2 quarts.
