The stock length fits. Or at least I hope so since thats what I've been using for the fast several months.

Just for future references in our system, you guy are using the stock length shaft but just putting the 4 bolt flange on the back (the Ford 4 bolts flange) correct ?

It all depends on the Ford flange, give me the dimensions of the flange you have. Ford has a few different joint sizes (i may also depend on the driveshaft, i know what the stock shaft should have but its possible its been changed is it steel or aluminum)

measure the ears of the flange across where the joint goes in, or just post up the picture of the shaft and the flange

ok, im a little confuses, the Ford flange is 3.5" from ear to ear, this should have a 1.063 cap or for a better term its a 1310 flange

your shaft should have a plastic injected style shaft with a 3.6 wide joint sporting a 1-1/8 cap.

does your shaft have a 3.6 wide joint with a 1.063 cup ?

why done you just call 1-80--564-2244 ask for Frank, you dont have to buy it from me ill give the joint number so you can get it local.

Alright so my flange is 3.5" with 1.063 cup

And my driveshaft is 3.5 with 1.125 cup

The u-joint clip grooves on the flange are on the outer edge of the inside of the cup unlike the driveshafts

I just put my 8.8 in my car and used a ford flange style yoke and my driveshaft is too short just barely touches. What are you using?
