The price you get for it will depend on your location, how close you are to whoever needs it, and how badly someone needs it. The best thing to do is to search the wanted adds here on tech, and the for sale section. Obviously you don't want to rip someone off, but you want to get as much as you can out of it to go towards your new rear. Bob

That depends if you sell it complete or keep your backing plates and rings to save yourself some money on a new replacement rear end. New GM backing plates if can be found are darn near the price of a Strange Sportsman rear brake kit. You will lose your E-brake going that route.

Four channel rings are a missing item these days as well all though companies do make replacements, the cost of new ones are not cheap either.

I ordered a MWC 9" one last week. Build time is gonna be about 10 weeks

Spool
4.11 Gears
35 spline axles
Steel Driveshaft
Back brace
Assembled
Powdercoated Black (might change that to red I havent decided yet)

I think thats it. It came out to 3.4k and some change. Put down a 1435 deposit and you can pay the rest off whenever I think.

Edit

MWC all the way! They also sell Moser rearends and the S60. So they can get you what your looking for.

I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would want a stamped steel case when the price difference is only a few hundred bucks if that.

The Moser fabricated rear is also a great way to go, and the wait time is only two days. Bob

Thank you for the order, and all the others we have had this year as the members of LS1Tech have been a great asset to us and we hope to stay one for you as well.

We are not doing any sponsoring at this time but we have other ways of helping out our customers. Put down a small down payment to get your name on the list and pay as you go and as you can.

This way you can still get into a rear end and the blunt of the purchase will not seem as bad. We have a ton of customers taking advantage of this. With our slower build time considering we are a fabrication shop not a retail shop and build orders as they come this works out for us and our customers.
