Eaton posi
i am looking to save some money on my rear end. being that a moser 12 bolt is 2500-2600 . I am looking into replacing the axles and the differential. I was looking at the eaton posi that fits my rear end housing. the pushes 550-560 on the dyno and i dont want to buy a rear multiple times. How do you feel about the diff and my idea to save money in general. do you think i would blow the differential. I cant find how much torque or hp it is rated for anywere
Thanks,
Kyle.

Built properly, a 10-bolt 7.5" will probably be fine, but if you are starting from scratch, buy a 12-bolt or a S60... It is worth the premium...
To do a 10-bolt right you are talking at least $1200-1600, and that is parts, not including labor. Then you are talking about a driveshaft that can handle it as well... Again, overall a 12-bolt or S60 is only a few hundred more, and that is including the new driveshaft as well...
