Default Are these Backing plates any good?

I bought these off a member here and received them today and opened the box and inspected everything and found that the rubber seals/boots are destroyed. Is this going to affect anything? or will they be ok? These are backing plates off a 4 ch 10 bolt. Thanks for the help

These are always ripped. They are on my 2002.

There is a non sponsor that sells replacements for $15, IIRC.
