PST aluminum or carbon all the way. They make some of the nicest shafts on the market and we have the best deal on them as well.
The carbon is the lightest no doubt, and if money isn't a issue for the best part, then you can't go wrong. You should see some gains on the track and definitely a much safer shaft in the case of a failure.
I do run a PST carbon shaft in my current Top Sportsman car, and my new T/S car that will make upwards of 2500hp will have one, and you can bet the MWC LSX Real Street car will be nothing less.

Mark Williams accubond mmc is as nice as it gets. 3.5 or 4 inch, super light, and very strong. Only issue with carbon fiber is if you knick it they loss their strength. I've ran several shafts from dennys also, very nice stuff also.
