Default posi gone bad?

im sure its been answered somewhere but i couldn't find it. its pretty simple, when i turn right and stomp it, it boils the right rear tire until i grab second, then is spins both. if i turn left it spins them both, is this the posi unit going bad or just a P.O.S. posi design?

Most of time people buy brand new 9 inch housings. They are not made by Ford but they could accept Ford equipment inside as they are dimensionally the same (relating to the gears and posi).

Anything but a spool or locker can only split so much
torque, and right turn under power produces the most
traction-difference. Stock Torsen only splits 2:1 max.
And will make shavings every time you force it past its
split-range into one-wheel-peel.

They are not the right dimension, have the wrong brackets welded on, have no torque arm provision, and have weak posis inside. It has everything working against actually working properly in your car.
