Your suppose to match the gear to the setup accordingly. Bolt on lt1 cars are completely different than a t rex ls1. 4.30 is whats recomended by the cam manufacturer...

4.11s are a big improvement over 3.42s, i have 4.30s for my new center section. the 4.11s werent enough at the track.

So I got 3.89 right now but my friend with a procharged Camaro asked if I wanna trade them for his 4.30s might do that? My 3.89 are working out pretty damn good though. Not to much difference with rpm level compared to my stock gears when cruising on the hwy in 6th.

I was going 4.11 but after relizing I might run out of 4th gear in a quarter with my HP I did a calculator and found out with 4.11s i would run out of 4th by 122 at 6600 so I steppeld up to 3.90s which should put me rightat the top of my rpm at the end of the quarter plus I daily drive mine and there really isnt going to be much different ince 4.11s to 3.90s for most cars especially with my HP lvl (530wheel)

Quick Reply: Which Gears 3.90's, 4.10's, or 4.30's?
