Default Rusting studs on Dana 60

Stupid little problem that annoys me like crazy. The studs on my Dana 60 have surface rust and look like they came off the titanic. Wierd because my car is garaged....Anyone know any paint that wont come off again? I was thinking about using POR15 but I dont know if the studs will still thread on after.

Any paint you put on the studs will come off the first time you put the lug nut back on.

2 solutions:
1) Get something like arp studs. The alloy they are made out of doesn't seem to rust
2) Get acorn style lug nuts so the studs won't show.
