Whats the best price i can get on a 9" rear housing with all the correct brackets to use my suspension and factory brakes with the addition of the drain and fill plugs? Also can i use my edelbrock non adjustable torque arm or do i need to buy an adjustable piece? In case someone asks its for an 02 z28 with mods listed

For the cheapest 9" buying a housing and axle package then get a used center section off yellowbullet or somewhere.

They are very common and its not hard to find a used setup with the gear ration you want already setup.

The best way to go with with the housing and axle package, shown here.
http://shop.brutespeed.com/Moser-9-I...-and-Axles.htm
With the above combination all you will need is a center section. Old Ford pick up trucks and some of the larger Ford cars came with 9 inch rears. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. Bob

Cheapest can some times be an ugly word to use because with a cheap price can some times mean cheap quality when it comes to fit and finish plus needed items for installation to make that process go smoother when installing the rear end.

With that being said we can get you into a housing and axle package with one of our fabricated nine inch rear ends for $1650 shipped to the lower 48 states. This package includes housing(any width),31-35 spline Strange axles w/ street bearings and 2" 12mm metric or 1/2" SAE studs, chrome-moly double adjustable torque arm with crossmember for your application. All necessary hardware is included as well.

Rearend housing features components such as a drain plug, 4 hole relocator style lca brackets(any style of stock mounting LCA will bolt into place), PHB bracket(stock style mounting PHB will bolt up),stock style anti-sway bar mounts, brake line clips, chassis brake hose mounting bracket, brake hose mounts and e-brake cable brackets(98-02) all as standard equipment at no extra charge. A fill cap is $30 but most cases have a fill/site hole that can be used as well.

The chrome-moly double adjustable torque arm is included with the package and is exclusive to this housing. Short (tunnel mounted) and long (trans crossmember mounted) versions available. Both are the same cost, the short arm crossmembers come with a driveshaft loop installed (available with dual exhaust), the long arm comes with a new trans crossmember, but no loop.

As you well know, there is no cheapness to a Moser rear. Bob

I consider mine was pretty cheap by scoring a good condition 9" center section with a TracLoc on Ebay and going with a Moser 9" housing/axle package. Assembled it myself

Quick performance has some of the cheapest (in price) stuff. I was considering their brand housing+axles package. But BruteSpeed's price on the moser housing+axles is as cheap as you will find it. Lots of good prices here
