Default strange sound when sfifting

I just started having a sort of clunk/grind sound coming from the back of the car when I shift from park to reverse/drive. If I shift and wait a few seconds before moving everything is fine. There are no whining noises and the trans is shifting fine when Im driving. Any ideas????

Sounds like worn out Universal Joints may be your problem. A broken transmission mount will also make this sound. Bob

I'd stay with a stock mount. Poly sometimes leads to added vibrations being noticed. Bob
