Default Does my '99 Z28 has a Torsen rear?

I have a 1999 Z28 with automatic. Does it have a Torsen rear or an Auburn? I did a search and have not found a conclusive answer.

Default Non-GM Limited Slip additive - opinions please

Thanks!!

Also, I'm going to change the rear differential fluid on my 1999 Z28, and add some Limited Slip additive at the same time.

I have this tube of Limited Slip additive in my garage (see photo below). It says it's GM compatible but today I read on here that it's better using the official GM bottles.

What do you think, should I use the tube I got or should I buy one the GM bottles?

Also, if I go for the GM stuff, would I need to pour in there 1 or 2 bottles?

Don't think you need the limited slip additive if you have a torsen.

That's right, it's not needed... but from what I've read GM still recommends using it, to avoid a "rusty screw" sound that can sometime come from the rear axle.

It can't hurt to add it.
