Alright I am thinking of buying a 9" this week and would like to hear some opinions from you guys. I would like to keep abs. Car don't have tc. So what do I need to look for? Do you know of any places having a sale or discount for cyber monday or military? Or just info on the best place to order from would be great. Thanks in advance.

I have owned 2 moser 9" LOVED them both and i'm starting a 98-02 camaro build this coming year and will be getting another one aslo

1. 98 camaro Moser 9" rear 35 spline aluminum center with 3.70 lightened gears, gundrilled/star flanged axles, spooled, and the big wheel studs. daily drove the car and no complaints it was a built ls1 4L60E with 3600 stall that made 449rwhp on motor

2. 02 formula M6 Moser 9" rear 35 spline aluminum center with 4.11 reg gears, Spooled, reg axles and studs. i dialy drove this as well and drove it several times to work from philadelphia, ms to Galveston, tx. it was a cam/susp/N2O car made 387 on motor ran best of 10.86 on 100shot leaveing at 6800 rpms cutting a 1.49 short time LOVED this car

this being said my next build will be a M6 camaro i'll get the lightened gears gundrilled starflanged axles bigger studs aluminum center and of course a Spool after having 2 and daily driving them both spooled is the only one i'll buy now but thats just me. my main thing i wanted to get out was i approve the Moser 9" rears lol best luck to you

http://shop.brutespeed.com/Moser-9-I...with-Spool.htm

I too don't mind driving a car with a spool on the street. $2300.00 shipped is my starting price on a Moser 9 inch with a spool and 35 spline axles.

For those not wanting to go with a spool on the street, the Wavetrac is the best and very strong differential to go with. Here is a link to it. http://shop.brutespeed.com/Moser-9-I...h-Wavetrac.htm

These rears ship out just two days after the order is received. Bob

We don't have a sale going on at this time BUT our fabricated nine inch is already a better deal than any stamped style housing on the market and comes with a torque arm and cross member of your choice.

We do offer a $50 Military discount.

We can also keep your ABS with out an issue even if you chose a Strange S-Trac or you use a Wavetrac.

What is your goal with the vehicle and how much HP do you plan on building? These things will greatly help getting you what you need.

I've done it for years, heck like I tell people that call and ask about them. If my wife can drive the car to get groceries with a spool in it most will be OK. Now with that being said if you are planning any type of handling a spool is not what you want.

You're welcome. $2,910.00 shipped for the Wavetrac, the price is at the bottom of the page at the above link.

Moser rears ship out in just two days. It is always important to ask before you order a rear how long it will take to have it ship out. You don't want to order one and find out it will take three months for it to ship out from someplace, if you need it right away. Bob

I will send you a break down on everything we have to offer but with what you are doing I would not suggest a Truetrac and there really is no need to spend the money on a S-Trac or a Wavetrac. You also want to avoid a Detroit locker as they used to serve a purpose but today there is better alternatives that are more street friendly.

Our billet clutch posi is priced great and has proven itself over and over. It is our top selling differential unit on the market to date. I have guys ranging in all different HP levels. What is nice if you upgrade to a Wavetrac later we can set you up for that as well and know and understand what is needed to do so.

Not to mention if you are interested in any Moser or Strange product I can beat anyone's advertise price.

Ah, alright. Then guess it isn't for me, mine is a strictly street car and only see myself going to the track once or twice a year at most in the future if at all.

Ya it sounds like our billet clutch posi would be a good way to go and for what you would spend to get one in a stamped housing you could have a fabricated rear end that won't have any fitment issues and will bolt in how the 10 bolt came out.

If you want a good read here is a very long thread.

the only real diff is around curves it wants to walk a little bit but drive accordingly and its no biggy heck my woman would bring the camaro out and had no issuse with the spool or the manuel rack and pinion and she is 5'2" 104lbs lol its not for everyone but i wouldn't have it any other way. I'm even thinking about spooling my G8 GT IRS a spool leaves so so so much better at the track or street lol

With ABS and traction control you can go with the Trac-Loc if you are in the 500-550 hp range, here is a link to it. http://shop.brutespeed.com/Moser-9-I...c-Truetrac.htm

Let me know if you have any questions. Bob

I got my Moser 9" through Bob at Brute Speed. 35 spline, wavetrac, backbraced, 1/2" studs, 3.55 gears, nodular center. I absolutely love it. The thing is simply a beast. That wavetrac is something else. It really does feel like a limited slip on the streets. Feels like a factory car but when you need the traction it is all there. I had a great experience buying from Bob. Any time I have had questions he has been right there with answers for me. Good luck with whatever rear you go with.

You can do 4ch with our after market fabricated nine inch with out any issues. The only thing you need to do generally is reset your computer for gear ratio change.

We can also make 3ch ABS work with any differential on the market. Heck we can make it work on rear ends that others already have that couldn't get it with other manufactures.

Thanks, I appreciate it!

To shepss217, since you have ABS and TCS you have a 4 channel. Don't let anyone confuse you. Bob
