Default How to remove DS for Safety loop?

So I got my BMR stuff for my Kooks TD's and am going to get a jump since the exhaust system is backorded. I've read a couple threads on removing the DS to slide the loop over but just don't wanna F anything up.

Do I have to pull the DS from the pinion seal? I just got this leak fixed and really don't wanna take the chance of it starting all over again. From what I've read it's the 4 bolts on the U-joint and give it a pry or tap. Do I have to line anything back up or make a mark for the reinstall? I'm guessing I should loctite the bolts back on. I know this is probably simple but I've never done one. Thanks!

Jack the car up high. Put the car in "n". Then go under the car and unbolt the old brace. Then once thats off the are 4 bolts on the drive shaft by the rear. Then it will come down. The reason for putting it in "n" is so you can spin the drive shaft to get the bolts off. Then slide on the new dsl. If you have sfc you might have to beat it in then bolt it on. Good luck with the install.

Ok....so this doesn't disturb or require any removal of the yoke from the pinion seal right? Any I don't have to worry about anything being out of balance.

Nope just undo the U-bolts and rotate it around to get to all of them on the rear yoke. Simple.

We are glad your BMR driveshaft loop install was uneventful. It is super easy to install and works great, even though we hope you don't have to use it.
