well it is a tough decision between a s60 and a mwc 9,one the price, two the wait,i can get an s60 with a new ds for $2500 brand new with shipping to sjm manufacturing, the mwc might be best for all out racing and street use but the s60 has been around along time and has the proven strength.i guess it depends on what you wana do with the car and how much you wana spend, but at 600rwhp and affordability im thinking the s60 with a spool for me.im still deciding i hate this part!!

My car will never see over 700hp. the Plan is 500 motor and a little spray but thats still a ways off. I am not to worried about wait time. Cash flow is a bigger problem with this economy. That being said if MWC can get me into a MWC 9" with TA and cross member that sounds very nice. I have seen there work first hand and I LIKE

Badass product though, and if I had time to wait I would have went that direction.
I'm sorry your friends had a bad experience. We are very small company doing what we can with what we have. It has to be a nice feeling to know that your product is being built buy guys that care and not buy guys trying to make a quota to have product shipped out in just two days after a third party sale.

$4000k? I can get you into something for $3100 that will do everything the S60 does and that price includes a C/M torque arm and a cross member of your choice.

I think he was comparing A MWC 9 with a Posi not a spool. When I bought my rearend I think I too was quoted around $3,800 for a MWC 9 with a posi. If you compare an S60 with a spool I think the S60 is still cheaper.

S60 with a spool $2035
Shipping $225
Strange C/M Driveshaft $304
UMI tunnel mounted torque arm @ WS6Store $360.99

Total of $2924.99 vs $3100 for the MWC 9 correct me if Im wrong. Im not saying yours isn't a good product just that the S60 is cheaper even with the the torque arm and D/S. I have $3133.99 in my S-Trac posi S60, Strange C/M D/S and Umi Tunnel MTN Adjustable Torque Arm.

MWC with a spool completely assembled $2900 shipped (depending on location)
We can get anyone into that same D/S
Torque arm, can't even compare a bolt on style mild steal torque arm to the one in chromemoly that comes with our package. Something comparable would generally be around $450 but even then you are still talking about a stock style bulky torque arm mounting system.

So you are saving a little money going with an S-60 but for very little more money you are gaining a ton as far as what you are getting. Plus the added discounts we offer on other suspension items and the never ending tech advice we give to our customers long after the sale.

Now a S-60 with an S-Trac is cheaper than a nine inch with an S-Trac but the two versions are no were near the same. The S-trac in a S-60 is similar to a Truetrac to were the S-Trac in a nine inch application is designed for higher HP applications like the Wavetrac is.

I had a moser 9" in my LT1 car and didnt realy care for I seemed to get more drive line noise and had to massage the floor boards with a bfh to get it not to rub. I recently bought a S60 for my LS1 car but have yet to try it as I'm still building the motor and trans, but damn does it look better and seems to fit alot better.

S60 all day, yes it weighs a lil more but for the most part, it is indestructable.

Good to hear^^^. I'm looking to get a rearend soon also. Racers tend to say 9" for ease of working on and parts availibity. But I'm kinda leanjng towards the s60 for price and once I put a rearend in I kinda just want to forget its back there.
