In the wheel well. Put my tires on and I know I measured my adjustable lcas to be the same but it looks like one side is not centered in the wheel well. From the back bumper to the wheel it is different. Don't know if that's a good place to measure it though.

most people center it in the wheel opening from L and R
but really the most accurate to do it is on a wheel alignment machine
by doing a four wheel alignment
