Depends on whats included and type I suppose. 2.73 gears may be less desireable. traction control vs non traction control. etc. brakes or no brakes.
I paid 300 for a 3.42 rear with brakes and fairly low mileage. I paid 60 for a 2.73 rear with no brakes and a bent axle. Its all relative to condition and parts

wrd1972, I think I saw your for sale ad when I was searching for something and were'nt you asking $550? You had to come down to three fitty to sell it? That doesn't bode well for me, 'cause I built up the same rear end which I will be selling to help pay for a S60.....was hoping to get 500, I've got 650 into it including the cost of the rear and I did the work myself.

If I was asking $550, it was also including the 1LE aluminum driveshaft. Average price for 10 bolts from what I have seen is around $200 - $250. The guy that bought mine also bought the DS for $100 IIRC making the rear end $350. I took that and put it toward the 9" MWC rear.
