Default School me on 1350 vs 1550 etc!

I'm looking for a new rear, and don't have a clue as the different pinion/U joint sizes. I hear these different numbers but don't know what they mean. What does the stock 10 bolt have? Does the size increase with the bigger number? Is one compatible with the other?

Thanks!

Stock 10 Bolt is 1310 from what I have read. 1350 usually comes in High Torque applications such as trucks and hi performance vehicles and really the one all performance cars should come with! I don't know what the 1550 series is but you can go to the Spicer website and figure that all out.

Stock 10-bolt is a Saginaw 3R, not a 1310.
