Junk the stock rear . It will not hold up . Dont waste your money on it.

my stock rear has held to 9.72 at 142 on a 1.49 60 foot in my thirdgen... its a stock 99-02 rear with zexel torsen diff with 2.73 gears. I had a 3.42 gear version in my nitrous motor which went 1.41 and 1.45 60 foots to a 10.63 at 127 pass...and MANY 1.5x all motors.

They can hold with an auto as long as you are abit soft on the launch. I would not waste money on gear swap or posi swap, just leave it alone til it blows and then get a bigger rear or find another junkyard 10 bolt of the late years and run it again

It is better to have a slow car that finishes the race than a fast car that can't do anything with it...
