Default 9 inch ???

Ok so im getting ready to order my 9 inch rear to out in the car. Question is, where the car is lowered with an Eibach Pro-Kit and still on stock shocks, Will it bottom out?? Do I need to change the shocks over to another kind? Thanks for all the help in advanced!

The shocks don't change whether or not you bottom out. How far the car travels in bump and rebound is in the spring rate for the most part.

I meant to put springs and actually put shocks lol, Is an Eibach Pro-kit going to be fine with a 9 inch??

There are two main areas where the torque arm and torque arm mounting bracket may rub the floors sheetmetal, it is easy to take a pry bar and shove it up there and pry the floor's sheetmetal away. Bob

The torque arm will contact the tunnel even at stock ride height with a stamped style 9" rearend housing... it is not uncommon to see cars that have had a hole punched through the sheetmetal. The stamped type housings have the driveshaft moved over to the passenger side 1/2" more than stock and the torque arm is relocated slightly the driver side making the effect worse. The stamped type housings have been on the market for years and if you don't mind doing a few mods it can still be a good rearend.

The MWC fabricated 9" rearend has no clearance issues even with the average 1.2" lowered stance, and the torque arm and driveshaft location are exactly stock. Stronger and lighter by design compared to stamped type housings, the MWC 9" package is the most true "bolt-in" 9" rearend you can buy, and has many more options to suit your needs.
