Slicks on stock diff
The fewer the mod's, the less power to the gears, so even less risk, right?
Especially with 2.73 gears???
That is the strongest gearset you can get for the 10bolt.
This post makes zero sense.
Have been running ET/DR's for years with 60's in the 1.53-1.70's on a BONE STOCK 10 bolt.
No issues.
This year switched to a bias ply to get a more consistant launch.
I was surprised to find that not only did my 60' time drop, but that a 1.46 short time on the bias ply was not as violent as the 1.53 that the DR's gave me. The bias ply did a much better job of absorbing the shock of the initial hit.
