Default Moser M9 vent?

I have a M9 housing and it has a hole tapped for a vent and a barbed fitting came with it but i'm not crazy about the look of that and a rubber hose anyone come up with something that looked better?

Its easy to find an NPT to AN adaptor and run a stainless steel braided line.

This is a show and go build so i care what it looks like and there is no plain rubber hoses on this car! and i surely will not leave the end wide open even stock vents have some sort of breather tip inserted in the hose just looking for something decent looking.

Make sure whatever you do, you keep an open vent or you will start pushing fluid past the wheel bearings.

I use sintered bronze filters. They look good and can be had with NPT or AN straight threads.

Has to be bigger than the dime sized SI or it will not flow enough to keep the rear from pressurizing.

Works fine for me....the filters can be had in different configurations that allow alot more surface area than what you are thinking.

The one we tried was a tight mesh bronze. Wound up drilling a 1/8" hole in it to get enough airflow to keep the pressure down. I'm sure they make different styles with different void ratios that should work.
