have an S60 on order and I will be needing a shorter drive shaft for my 2002 Camaro ss manual transmission.
Does anyone know the weights of the following?
a) OEM aluminum drive shaft
b) OEM steel drive shaft (whichever 4th gen)
c) shorter aluminum drive shaft to fit car having an S60
d) shorter carbon fiber drive shaft to fit car having S60
regarding drive shaft balancing, how does that work? Is the shaft balanced all by itself, or is it balanced in combination with the transmission slip yoke and u-joints?
also, anyone know the lengths of the oem drive shaft in a 4th gen? Been googling camaro drive shafts and it seems there is are 1LE and LS1 versions?
thanks.
