Hey guys I just had 3.73 gears put in my 2000 z28. They seem to be very loud to me. I had gears put in some of my other cars and they seem to be alot quiter. The gears I had put in are motive. It is louder when I am coasting. Do you think there is any way they could have done something wrong? One more thing does anyone know the correct oil and additive that should be put in the rear?

Oil depends on the diff. Auburn gets dino and friction modify, torsen gets whatever you want.

Were it my rear, I'd get some gear paint and take a pattern before I put many miles on it...if it is unacceptably loud. My motives 9" are barely audible.
