Solid crush slevees/ spacers... Has anyone used them and are they any good? Found these for 17 bucks, they seem cheap. And is the part number 4111 I need? thanks.

I've been beating mine for maybe 30K miles since
the rear rebuild and it's no noisier than original
(not noisy at all).
My buddy was able to just assemble the shim stack
to the height of the old crushed collar, put it in and
got the right tooth contact pattern first try.

I found when installing mine the pinion preload changed considerably just by changing the shims a few thousandths. I thought I had mine set up perfectly by tightening the pinion nut with a breaker bar and checking the preload. Then when I torqued the pinion nut to ~250ft-lbs the for final assembly the preload was way more than I wanted. Just keep that in mind when you're setting it up.

Yep, pinion nut torque changes preload. So you better do final torque value when trying to figure out what shims you want. As stated above, if you tighten to 100 and get your shims right, the drag load will not be the same at 200 or whatever. It will change.
