Ford 9" Housing Material
It's about that time, looking into putting a 9" in my car so I can go wheels up. Looking into what TSP has to offer here:

I am now weighing my options on what to do for the housing material since I see they have an option to have it made from aluminum. At first thought I thought it was a stupid idea to do that - the housing would just twist/possibly break. Has anyone tried one of those out? I was not planning on getting the back brace, but I figured if I went with the aluminum one I could run the back brace and not get it painted (it is aluminum so it should not need to be painted) for roughly the same cost as a nodular iron housing that is powder-coated, and weigh a decent amount less I am assuming.
Let me know your thoughts on this option.
Thanks.
Wil.
