Default Where can i get 3.42 gears?

I know this has probabaly already been discussed in other posts.. but i was looking quite a bit and i wasn't really finding anything.. I am going to put some 3.42 gears in my 2000 SS and i was wondering which ones are most recommende, strongest, and have the least amount of noise.. Will i see a gain from the 3.42 gears over the 3.23 gears? I have heard of people going with OEM and Richmond 3.42 gears? But what do you think are the best for the buck? If anyone can help me out i'd really appreciate it! Thanks

I'll be stepping up to 4.10's soon and will be selling my original 3.42's if you're interested (that's if you have a 3 series carrier)....

If you have 3.23s, 3.42s will be a waste of money. Go to fbody.org/gears and compare the revs. 3.73s would be worth something, but you'll have to learn to love the increased revs on the highway.

I don't know what series carrier i have... i am sortta looking to buy brand new ones though.. I keep seeing in a lot of forums about the difference between 3.42's and 3.73's being almost unnoticeable.. but the 3.42's are stronger for some reason? I am not really quite sure.. If anyone could get me some feedback i'd really appreciate it.. Thanks
